Demo: Provide First Aid
|$155.00||Duration : 1 days|
Provide First Aid HLTAID003 is a Nationally Recognised accredited first aid qualification sometimes know as senior first aid, apply first aid or first aid refresher that will give you the skills and knowledge required to perform first aid in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.
Our unique approach will show you a plan to develop the confidence to effectively perform CPR, manage an unconscious patient and use an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) to administer shocks to a patient who has stopped breathing and requires life saving “defib” treatment.
You will also learn a lot of simple techniques to manage a range of trauma, medical emergencies and how to provide emergency care until the ambulance arrives.
While this course is needed by many people working as Austswim teachers, massage and physiotherapists or in aged and disability care, education, trades and community sectors or for other work related reasons, understanding first aid, emergency care and how to use an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) can be important in your family, social circles or when you are at the local shopping centre.
Being able to help those close to you is an often overlooked but experience tells us that while you often learn these skills for work they are most often used on someone you know. So if you need a First Aid certificate for work or you are just interested in learning skills in case you need to help your family, friends or community then you should book now.
