This is one-day intensive virtual course via ZOOM from 9am to 3pm AEST
Participants
Anyone who is required to attend the operating theatre. This includes Medical Company Representatives (In-House Technicians) new to the perioperative environment and participants with outdated Operating Theatre Protocols qualifications.
Fee
The fee of this one-day virtual module is A$1,900 for non-members and A$950 for members. Prices include GST.
How to join
The course runs virtually via ZOOM from 9am to 3pm AEST.
Once enrolled, an instruction on how to join this virtual course will be emailed to you.
Certificate
A Certificate of Completion will be available for you to download by logging into the MTAA ChalkPort Learning Management System upon completion.
You can send your digital certificate to your HR division or manager if required.
You can also add the certificate to your phone for your entry to a health care facility.

To keep your operating theatre protocols certificate current, you must enrol for the latest 1.6 OTP Update 2025 – 2026.
Please log in if you have an existing account in ChalkPort, do not create a new account.
If your employer is a MTAA member, the fee will show as $195 incl. GST, non member fee is $390 incl. GST.
Payment must be made online to access the OTP course.
